A full overview of the Batman Tumbler Golf Cart
Ever wondered what it would be like to own the coolest golf cart in the world? We did too! So we hired RPM Productions in Hollywood to build us a fully metal Batman Tumbler Golf Cart. This Batman cart features dually rear 28-inch Super Swamper golf cart tires mounted on 14-inch black steel golf cart wheels, FOX Racing 3.0 Shocks, a 40mph top speed, and more! Why the Batman Cart was Built?
We love the Chris Nolan Batman Trilogy as much as anyone else. And with Batman, you can rest assured that you will always see the coolest gadgets in the world, insane vehicles and creepy villains. But arguably the most popular of those features is the Batmobile itself. The "Tumbler" was Bruce Wayne's newest form of military grade transportation in the Chris Nolan Batman films from 2008-2012. It is basically what you get when a Tank meets a Lamborghini; and boy did it win the hearts of everyone out there when it debuted. We sure love it!
We also love golf carts. You might say we love golf carts a little bit too much. Because we went ahead an commissioned our very own golf cart batmobile Tumbler. Funny enough, the Tumbler was the only batmobile not to be called a "batmobile", which we also love!
Batmobile Golf Cart Price
While the original Batman Tumbler themed golf cart was sold on eBay for $17,500 many years ago, it cost double that amount to originally build for Director Ray Griggs, who commissioned it. After the original was built, requests for more carts poured in to Marc Irvin of RPM Productions. But with Marc having a limited schedule due to other projects, he was only ever able to complete five Batman Carts in total. With the final cart going to Golf Cart Tire Supply and costing a whopping $35,000. But you can't put a price on happiness, can you?
Golf Cart Batmobile Build Details
This modified golf cart starts with the frame of an EZGO, which is stripped down and then built up as a new cart with a custom frame and sheet metal design including a stealth-looking cowl. The electric cart features some insanely cool build features such as:
- 6HP motor is capable of 38mph+ top speed
- Custom four-link rear suspension setup
- 2-Piston Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners
- Adjustable Fox Racing coil-over rear shocks
- Leather stitched seats with nylon carbon weave
- Simulated U2 Spyplane Jet engine operating noise
- Onboard Delta-Q golf cart charger
- Trojan Lithium golf cart batteries
- Rear molded jet-engine cowl
- Custom Batman steering wheel
Summary
