When it comes to your STAR Cart, they are typically less forgiving in terms of being able to accept taller tires without a lift kit installed. So to go above 18.5" in tire size, your STAR EV will need a lift kit. In general, STAR golf carts can fit the following "lifted" tire sizes with a lift kit installed:
- 20.5" tires with 3" lift kit installed - (these taller tires will fit with a 3" lift: 205/65-10", 215/50-12", 205/30-14", 20x10-10")
- 22" tall tires with 5" lift kit installed - (which means with a 5" lift, even taller tires will fit: 22x11-10", 22x10-10", etc.)
- 23" tall tires with 6" lift kit installed - (with a 6" lift installed, these common tires will fit: 23x10.5-12", 23x10-12", 22x10-12", 23x10-14", etc.)
- 25" tall tires with a 7" or 8" lift kit installed - (the tallest tires available will fit: 25x10-12", 25x9.5-12", etc.)
