An EZGO Controller is what helps your EZGO's electric golf cart motor communicate with your accelerator pedal when you press your foot down. It controls the power output (voltage) from your battery to your golf cart motor and powers your golf cart forward. When you take your foot off the accelerator, newer style controllers will utilize regenerative energy recapture (regen) to both slow your cart down faster and give your EZGO battery a small boost in charge.
