If you read our list each year when we update it, you might notice a few accessories and parts that tend to firmly hold their rightful place in the Top 10 list of best selling golf cart upgrades on the market. But as with every year, there are a few newcomers for this season as well! So without further ado, and based on truckloads of customer purchasing data from the past year, let's get to the good stuff! We are proud to present, the best golf cart accessories on the market in 2025.

10. Golf Cart Fender Flares

Holding at #10 this year on our list are golf cart fender flares. They are an incredibly popular addition to protect you and your passengers from dirt, rocks, and other debris from being flung into the air by your cart's spinning tires (especially for lifted golf carts with larger/meatier tires). Golf cart fender flares not only keep your passengers safer, but they also also help protect the body of your golf cart from scratches that can be caused by flying sling. These body flares also give carts that tough off-road look many cart owner's desire.

9. Golf Cart Seat Covers & Seat Cushions

Falling back to #9 on our list this year (and knocking golf cart heaters off the list) are golf cart seat covers.

If your golf cart is over 10 years old, chances are your seat covers have rips or have faded. If your cart is newer, then tan, taupe, beige, grey... the list of boring factory seat colors goes on. But with a fresh set of golf cart seat covers or cushions, your cart can go from drab-to-fab seating in an afternoon! You just need to decide which route you want to go when upgrading your golf cart seats:

  • Golf Cart Seat Covers: Golf cart seat covers are a protective/decorative neoprene or vinyl layer designed to fit over the seat foam of your cart. Think of them as being a jacket for your seats. Seat covers keep your seats safe from the sun, rain, and dirt that can cause damage or fading, and can help regulate seat temperature. They come in factory replacement colors and tons of custom color options as well.
  • Golf Cart Seat Cushions: Also known as custom golf cart seats, a set of golf cart seat cushions will completely replace your entire front seat assembly, offering more comfortable and contoured seating styles and limitless colors and materials options.

Seat cushions sold on our site come completely ready to install, and take about 5 minutes to put on your cart. Seat covers, on the other hand, require about 30-mins to install because you need to fabric-staple the new ones in place. Check-out our install video below to see how easy it is to do.

8. Golf Cart Enclosures

Golf carts are open air vehicles, with little protection from the elements (other than your windshield). For this reason, golf cart enclosures have become an increasingly popular accessory used to protect people from inclement weather while riding in their carts. They come in several different styles, including:

  • Hinged Golf Cart Enclosures: Premium option with latching doors for convenience, enhanced comfort, and a more enclosed vehicle-like experience.
  • Over-the-Top Enclosures (classic): Affordable, weatherproof covers made from durable materials (Vinyl or Sunbrella Canvas) that fit all carts and are easy to install with no-drill options.
  • Track-Style Enclosures: High-end, customizable covers with a modular design, allowing easy fabric replacement and tailored to fit various cart configurations.
  • Portable EnclosuresFast and easy economy style enclosure. Simply throw over the top of the cart, secure the four corners and you're all set. While regular over-the-top enclosures use your existing windshield, Portable Enclosures have clear-vinyl integrated windscreen (not as nice as reusing your windshield on a 3-Sided OTT enclosure)

7. Golf Cart Windshields

Falling back from #4 on our list last year to #7 on this year's list are golf cart windshields. Windshields are one of the most popular golf cart parts on the market for ex-golf course carts. This is because the majority of golf carts (fleet / golf course carts) don't come with a windshield installed on them from factory. But many manufacturers now include windshields on carts as standard equipment straight from the factory on lifestyle carts, so there has been a slight dip in the need for aftermarket windshields. Still, over time windshields can crack or develop a hazy and faded look to their acrylic material and require replacement or upgrade!

Windshields keep you protected from the chilly air, bugs, rain, and anything else you might encounter while driving on the road or at the golf course. They come in either tinted or clear finishes, depending on style preference. And most golf cart windshield offerings are impact modified so they it can withstand moderate impacts during use.

6. Golf Cart Lights

Regardless if your cart came with a light kit brand new or not, more people look to use their cart on the street or at night every year. And for our those who don't have a light kit on their cart yet, this accessory is still one of the most popular we sell. Customers these days are also demanding upgraded automotive style light kits, LED light bars, and light whips for their carts. Golf cart lights typically come in four styles:

  • Street legal lights (deluxe): these full light kits typically include front headlights, rear taillights, a turn-signal, horn kit, and brake light switch (to indicate when you are applying the brakes on your cart).
  • Non-street legal lights: simple light kits that typically only include front headlights and taillights, of which may or may not have a built-in brake switch
  • Golf Cart LED Light Bars: LED Light Bars are typically mounted on the front or roof of the golf cart, but can go anywhere and provide a wide, bright beam of light that illuminates the path ahead during nighttime or low light driving.
  • Golf Cart Light Whips: decorative and fun tall flexible light sticks that can be attached to the back or sides of your cart, offering increased visibility with their vibrant colors and dynamic LED patterns. Often used in parades or at camp sites to spice up your cart's visibility.

5. Golf Cart Mirrors

Bumping back to#5, but holding strong on our list are golf cart mirrors; and it is easy to understand why! This accessory is incredibly popular with our customers since most carts have just one small center mounted rearview mirror from the factory. Adding golf cart side mirrors or a larger golf cart rear view mirror to your cart increases your safety dramatically while out riding. And mirrors are a must have for driving your golf cart on the road when converting your cart to street legal.

Our mirror kits typically come in either a wider-angle (multi-panel) center mounted rearview setup or a side-mounted set, which get mounted on your left and right roof supports. When adding golf cart side mirrors, look for sets with integrated LED turn signal indicators built into them for even more visibility from other traffic on the road.

4. Lithium Golf Cart Batteries

We can't believe the tailwinds of how many lithium batteries have been sold since 2020 are just now catching up on our list in 2025! But wow, lithium golf cart batteries are all the rage these days. We called it back in 2019 with out article Why Lithium Golf Cart Batteries are The Future. But why are so many people buying lithium batteries for their golf carts? The list below sums it up.

Why Lithium Golf Cart Batteries are so great

  • Fully Charge in 2-3 hours: Lithium batteries charge fully in just a few hours, and up to 80% in just one hour. Compare that to 8-10hrs for traditional Lead-Acid golf cart batteries.
  • They live longer: Lithium golf cart batteries live 3x - 5x longer than traditional golf cart batteries.
  • They are light: Lithium packs reduce the battery weight of your cart by 300lbs or more, which means more efficient power and mileage out of your cart. They make your cart faster!
  • Require No maintenance: No adding water, cleaning corrosion, or checking acid levels for this battery type.
  • Don't lose power while using: Lithium-Ion batteries do not lose power as voltage dips (they don’t get ‘tired’ as they are used)

3. Golf Cart Rear Seat

It’s should come as no surprise that adding a rear seat to your golf cart would be one of the most popular accessories on the market. A golf cart rear seat kit instantly doubles your cart's passenger carrying capacity, and gives your cart more utility in general (extra cargo space/cargo bed). Families and businesses alike love them (and need them)! Golf Cart Rear Seats are so popular that all OEM golf cart manufacturers now offer rear seat kit options straight from the factory. But if your cart came without a rear seat installed on it, don't worry! Adding a rear seat to your cart is quick and easy, with many great options to choose from.

When purchasing golf cart seats it is important that the kit you choose is high quality (marine grade vinyl that won’t fade, tubular steel or aluminum construction, etc.). We also always recommend that the golf cat back seat you choose is a FLIP SEAT/FLIP-FLOP SEAT, which simply means the seat has the ability to fold down to be used to haul cargo. Stationary golf cart seats work fine, but limit what your cart can do with your cart.

2. Golf Cart Lift Kits

Golf cart lift kits come in again at the 2nd position on our list this year, and that is no surprise to us (or our customers). More and more cart owners these days are aiming to give their golf cart the coolest looking wheels and tires they can on their cart. And that means more space and height are needed to fit those bigger and better wheels. It is hard to express just how popular golf cart lift kits are with golf cart owners everywhere! They have become so popular that most OEM manufacturers offer their carts Lifted (or non-lifted) straight from the factory.

If you ever see a golf cart with tires taller than 20 inches in height installed, then it almost certainly has a lift kit installed on it. The fact of the matter is, if you want to fit bigger wheels and tires on your cart or are looking to drive over rougher terrain; you will need a golf cart lift kit to get the job done! There are lift kits for all types of applications: from basic block lift kits (for just giving your cart a boost up in height) to long travel lift kits that will turn your cart into a true off-road rock crawler. The most popular lift kit type of them all is the A-Arm Lift Kit, which you will see from all the major brands on our site. We also have a wonderful write up on the different lift kit types (and the tire sizes you can fit with them), as well as a video (below) explaining the different lift kit types. So be sure to watch and read through before ordering your golf cart lift kit!

And the winner is...

Golf cart wheels and tires are the easiest (and fastest) way to instantly change the entire look and feel of your golf cart. They also give you the best return on your money if you are trying to modernize your cart. And a taller set of tires can even easily increase your carts top speed!

In general, golf cart tires come in diameters (height from ground to top of tire) ranging from 18" tall to 23" tall, and get mounted on aluminum and steel golf cart wheels sized 8" through 15"When shopping for wheels and tires, tire size is the most important factor (not wheel size) when determining if a particular golf cart wheel and tire combo will fit on your cart.
